General Information
Date: 2nd to 4th October 2020.
Summary: This is an annual tournament with 3 sections – 1600+, 1200-1600 and U1200.

Venue: Lichess.org, this will be an entirely online congress.

Entries: You can enter online on the ICU website icu.ie/events/1411. Entry fee €5 for all sections.
Format: Six Round Swiss System for all players, managed by Lichess. All sections will use Time Control 45 minutes plus 30 second increment.
Prizes:
Trophies will be awarded to winners.
To reduce the incentive for cheating no cash prizes will be given.
Brilliancy Prizes: Any person may nominate one of their games, or any game they observe as part of the tournament, for a brilliancy prize. We hope to award one brilliancy prize for each section.

Terms
- This is an online tournament organised by Cork Chess Club. Do not come to Cork to play.
- Players may request to play up a section, this decision is at the discretion of the tournament controller and organising committee.
- Section entry will be based on ICU and FIDE ratings.
- Games will not be rated by ICU or FIDE. Section rating bands may be adjusted subject to entries
